What Information Do We Collect? How Do We Use It?
When you order from us, we need to know your name, email address, mailing address, credit card number and expiration date. This allows us to process and fulfill your orders and to notify you of your order status. Registering to become a subscriber enables us to keep you informed about certain offers. For this service we need your name, email address, country and zip/postal code. We may use the information we collect to occasionally notify you about important changes to the website, new Alchemilla services and special offers we think you'll find valuable.
Disclosure of Information to Outside Parties
Alchemilla does not and will not share, sell, trade or rent your personal information to others.
How Does Alchemilla Protect Your Information?
All personal data you enter is encrypted with secure server software (SSL) that encodes the information before your Web browser software sends it to us. The SSL software decodes the data only after it reaches our server, meaning hackers cannot snatch your personal information while it is in transit. Once the data reaches our website, the same state-of-the-art security software we use to guard all of our company's essential business data also protects your personal data.
What About "Cookies"?
As you probably know, "Cookies" are small pieces of information that are stored by some websites on your computer's hard drive. Our cookies do not contain any personally identifying information, but they do enable us to provide features such as enabling you to store items in your shopping cart between visits. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually change your browser to prevent that. Even without a cookie, you can still use most of the features in our store, including placing items in your shopping cart and purchasing them.
If you are under the age of 18, you must not provide your name, email address or any other identifying information without the consent of your parent or guardian, or as otherwise provided for by law.
