Ginkgo biloba (Maidenhair Tree, or more commonly known as "Ginkgo") is the soul surviving member of its plant family and has long been grown as a sacred tree in Asia.

Referred to as a "living fossel", a single tree can live as long as 1000 years, and the Ginkgo trees alive today are identical in appearance to those in fossil records predating the evolution of mammals.

Ginkgo clearly has an incredible resilience. Its leaves contain flavonoids and terpenoids (potent antioxidants) and ginkgolides, which promote blood flow and inhibit allergic reactions.
